Government agencies in the country continue to celebrate Prophet Muhammad Salallahu Alaihi Wassalam's birthday. The Islamic Dakwah Centre through the Lecture Unit, Dakwah Propagation Section, this afternoon held a special talk in conjunction with the maulud celebration.
The Deputy Minister of Religious Affairs, Yang Berhormat Pehin Udana Khatib Dato Paduka Seri Setia Ustaz Haji Badaruddin delivered a talk entitled 'Illahi Selamatkan Brunei Darussalam' which stressed on the importance of Doa for the nation. According to Yang Berhormat, Doa for the nation is not only for the country and its territories but also for the rakyat and residents who have the freedom and social and political system to manage the lives of the individual, community and government. And in the context of Brunei Darussalam, Yang Berhormat said, the nation refers to the monarch, rakyat, the government and its territories.
Present was the Deputy Minister at the Prime Minister's Office, Dato Seri Paduka Eussof Agaki. Also present were the deputy minister, permanent secretary, deputy permanent secretary, director general, directors and division two officers from ministries and departments in the country.
