The rites of sacrifice is a sunat or commendable religious deed required by Allah Subhanahu Wata'ala which is also known as Sunat Muakkad. From the aspect of the meaning of sacrifice is the slaughter of selected animals on Hari Raya Aidil Adha or the Feast of Sacrifice which falls on every 10th of Zulhijjah and the Tasyrik Days, which are 11th, 12th and 13th of Zulhijjah with the aim of bringing oneself closer to Allah Subhanahu Wata'ala. yesterday afternoon, the function was organised by the Ministry of Primary Resources and Tourism and the departments under it. The function took place at the Ministry of Primary Resources and Tourism.

 

The distribution of sacrificial meat to 106 recipients was officiated by Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Awang Haji Ali bin Apong, Minister of Primary Resources and Tourism and Pengiran Haji Kamalrudzaman bin Pengiran Haji Mohd Ishak, Permanent Secretary at the Ministry of Primary Resources and Tourism. Two buffaloes were slaughtered this year. The function jointly organised by the Tourism Development Department, Wildlife Section and the Brunei Darussalam Heart of Borneo Centre aimed to foster closer relations among the ministry's officer and staff.
