The payment of pension and derivative pension for May takes place yesterday and this Saturday. As implemented in March and April this year, the Treasury Department, Ministry of Finance and Economy continues the pension payments via drive-thru.
For the Brunei Muara District, the payments are made at the International Convention Centre in Berakas. Officers and staff of the Ministry of Finance and Economy as well as the Royal Brunei Police Force personnel have made careful planning by regulating vehicle traffic flow towards the drive-thru. Staff on duty are also urged to practise good personal hygiene at all times and physical distancing.
This is also true for volunteers from the Red Crescent Society who are at the scene to teach members of the public specifically senior citizens on how to use the BruHealth app that was launched recently.
