Perbadanan Tabung Amanah Islam Brunei, TAIB needs to be open-minded and accept change to ensure it remains relevant according to current trends and not be 'Business as Usual' attitude. This is because TAIB faces a big challenge in attracting new customers, especially among the younger generation, while retaining existing customers. The Second Minister of Defence as Chairman of the Perbadanan TAIB Board of Directors stated the matter at the Perbadanan TAIB's Annual Dinner in conjunction with its 29th establishment anniversary. The function was held at Tarindak D'Seni in the capital, 16th October night.
Yang Berhormat Pehin Datu Lailaraja Retired Major General Dato Paduka Seri Haji Awang Halbi bin Haji Mohd Yusof said starting this year, Perbadanan TAIB has implemented several critical upgrading projects, especially on facilities and technology, update internal administration and human resource management systems.
Present were Yang Berhormat Pehin Udana Khatib Dato Paduka Seri Setia Ustaz Haji Awang Badaruddin bin Pengarah Dato Paduka Haji Awang Othman, Minister of Religious Affairs as the Advisor of Perbadanan TAIB Board of Directors; and Dato Seri Paduka Awang Haji Ahmaddin bin Haji Abd Rahman, Deputy Minister of Finance and Economy for Fiscal as the Deputy Chairman of Perbadanan TAIB Board of Directors. The function coincided with the presentation of Long Service Certificate to 45 officers and staff as who who have served for 25, 20, 15, 10 and 5 years as an appreciation to the officers and staff of TAIB.
