More than 60 cadets from the Royal Brunei Police Force, RBPF and the visiting National Police Cadet Corps of Singapore, NPCC, were entertained to a Friendship Night. The Singaporean cadets are in the country on a five-day educational visit.
Present were the Acting Commissioner of Police, Awang Bahrin Bin Haji Mohammad Noor, and the Deputy Permanent Secretary at the Ministry of Education, Awangku Abdullah Bin Pengiran Haji Tengah. This programme is hoped to give an exposure to the the Singaporean cadets and learning experience over the culture, lifestyle and development of Brunei Darussalam.
Among the objectives of the police cadets' visit programme are to give emphasis on the positive both formal and informal knowledge development on the subject of common interest between members of both countries' Police Cadet Corps. The program allows students from both countries to bond and gain valuable exposures, be it on personal or academic level and it will also enable students to create paths and develop their own versions of new possible relationships amongst themselves.
