The comprehensive Master Plan Preparation Project for Upgrading and Refurbishment of the Raja Isteri Pengiran Anak Saleha Hospital is being drawn up in support of the hospital's move towards adapting to changes in healthcare and health management models in an effort to fulfill long-term national requirements. This morning, the Government of His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam through the Ministry of Health signed an agreement on the project with CPG Consultant Private Limited, Singapore.
Present to witness the signing of the Project Agreement was the Minister of Health, Yang Berhormat Pehin Orang Kaya Johan Pahlawan Dato Seri Setia Awang Haji Adanan. Signing on behalf of His Majesty's Government was the Permanent Secretary at the Ministry of Health, Awang Saifulbahri bin Haji Awang Mansor. CPG Consultant Private Limited Singapore was represented at the signing by its Senior Vice President, Mr Lim Lip Chuan. The preparation of the comprehensive masterplan, which is expected to be completed in 5 months, is one of the initiatives taken by the Ministry of Health to further develop the Raja Isteri Pengiran Anak Saleha Hospital and subsequently to effectively expand and consolidate the hospital's range of services. The prime objective of the project is to make the hospital an excellent, internationally recognised, centre of reference for healthcare. The project is also geared towards enabling the hospital to provide more efficient and higher quality services through a cost-effective specially designed system. Such a framework would cover infrastructure planning, the management of facilities, provision of services and healthcare processes.
