The Tamu Ria or festive market in Kampong Manggis was introduced to encourage a healthy, competitive business environment that would leave a significant, positive impact on national socio-economic development. This was highlighted by the Village Head of Kampong Manggis this morning, during the group aerobics session organised by the Kampong Manggis Village Consultative Council with the cooperation of the Brunei-Muara District Office.
A group aerobics session was among the highlights of the launch of Pancar Harapan Market in Kampong Manggis, Jalan Muara that runs for three days, beginning Friday. Present was Brunei-Muara District Officer, Awang Haji Jamain Bin Momin. The market's opening is meant to help realise the objective of turning the Gerai Pancar Harapan in Kampong Manggis into a viable commercial attraction.
