In-conjunction with the National Environment Conference, youths from five educational institutions received Youth Eco-vidoe Documentary Awards in three categories. The awards recognise and reward students who demonstrated leadership, critical thinking and innovation in environment solutions.
5 pre-University students of the Paduka Seri Begawan Sultan Science College won the award for the best project title "Beautifying Brunei".
Meanwhile, the award for the Most Entertaining Video was won by Masin Secondary School with the project titled, "Chloro-fluorocarbons Invasion." And the Best Picture Award went to the Awang Semaun Secondary School with its Project entitled "Water Pollution in Kampong Ayer" is to give awareness to the students who are the future generations of Kampong Ayer, to understand the problems they are causing. The awards were presented by the Acting Minister of Education, Dato Seri Setia Awang Haji Yusoff bin Haji Ismail.
