In its continued effort to provide a safe environment and efficient movement of traffic as well as public convenience in Mukim Liang, the Brunei Economic Development Board BEDB today announced the opening of a new permanent 4th arm at the traffic junction of the Sungai Liang Industrial Park, SPARK.
The new junction, which was constructed by Bina Puri Holdings Berhad, as part of their corporate social responsibility CSR initiative, is aimed at improving the comfort and safety of the road users traveling in the area and the residents of Simpang 766 in the longer term.
Prior to the opening of the new road, inspections were carried out by representatives from the Public Works Department and the Royal Brunei Police Force to assess all relevant technical and safety aspects before traffic light system connection and opening of the road for public use. To-date, Bina Puri Holdings Berhad had constructed and handed over two community projects: the Jalan Kecil Sungai Liang bridge and the Gerai Tamuneka in Kampung Sungai Liang.
