47 mosques, suraus and religious halls throughout the country received contributions from the Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Foundation which will be used to hold functions and activities throughout the Holy month of Ramadhan this year. The presentation ceremony was held at the Sultan Hassanal Bolkiah Foundation Complex in the capital.
The contributions were presented by a member of the fundation's Board of Directors, Dato Paduka Awang Haji Ali Hashim to the imams of mosques, suraus and religious halls concerned. The financial contributions for holding functions and activities during the month of Ramadan is an annual project of the Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Foundation in the religious field. It was also one of the efforts by the fundation to glorify the mosques, suraus and religious halls throughout the country in line with the policy and the aim of its establishment to spread the Islamic emminence in the country. The foundation has contributed a total of $36,300 to some mosques, suraus and religious hall throughout the country in the month of Ramadhan this year.
