The Tadarus delegation from the Ministry of Religious Affairs has continued the visits to mosques in all the four districts to glorify this year's holy month of Ramadan. Late yesterday afternoon, the delegation visited the Kampong Selangan Mosque in the Temburng District. Â
The tadarus ceremony began with the reading of Surah Al-Fatihah leb by the Permanent Secretary for Policy and Religious at the Ministry of Religious Affairs, Awang Haji Abdul Aziz bin Orang Kaya Maharaja Lela Haji Yussof.
This was followed with the reading of tahlil and doa arwah. Also present was the Deputy Permanent Secretary at the ministry, Awang Haji Harun bin Haji Junid. There was a presentation of endowment from the staff and officers from the ministry in the form of Water Jet and Vacuum Cleaner to the Mosque. The tadarus ceremony is an Islamic eminence apart from aiming to spur relatonship between the officers and sttaf of the ministry and residents of the local kampong.
