The Ministry of Finance and its departments, in the afternoon held a Khatam Al-Quran Ceremony to mark the end of the reading of the 30 chapters of the al-quran throughout the month of Ramadhan.
Present was the Second Minister of Finance at the Prime Minister's Office, Yang Berhormat Pehin Orang Kaya Laila Setia Dato Seri setia Awang Haji Abdul Rahman bin Haji Ibrahim. The Khatam Al-Quran Ceremony was led by the Imam of Kampong Pulaie Mosque, Haji Muhammad Burhanuddin bin Haji Damit who also led the reading of the tahlil. This year's tadarus and khatam al-quran ceremonies for the Ministry of Finance and its departments was organised by the Royal Customs and Excise Department.
