Vendors at Sumbangsih Mulia and Sumbangsih Bahagia in the morning held a tahlil ceremony for His Majesty's late parents, Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar Ali Saifuddien Sa'adul Khairi Waddien and Al-Marhumah Duli Raja Isteri Pengiran Anak Damit. The function took place at the Royal mausoleum in Jalan Tutong.
The 200 strong delegation included the Chairman of the Sumbangsih Mulia Building Committee, Yang Berhormat Pehin Kapitan Lela Diraja Dato Paduka Awang Goh King Chin and was led by Pengiran Dato Sarifuddin bin Pengiran Metali. The function began with a mass reading of the surah Yaasin and tahlil led by Imam Haji Abdullah Bin Haji Jaafar.
