The delegation from the Ministry of Education and its departments continued the tadarus, tahlil and doa arwah ceremonies at houses and mosques during Ramadhan. Late in the afternoon, the delegation was at the Pintu Malim Mosque in Mukim Kota Batu.
The delegation was led by the Permanent Secretary of Higher Education at the Ministry of Education, Doctor Haji Junaidi bin Haji Abdul Rahman. Also present were Directors, assistant directors, senior officers and staff of the Ministry of Education as well as members of the Mosque Administrative Committee and residents of Kampong Pintu Malim.
Earlier, endowments in the form of a water dispenser and a vacuum cleaner was presented to the Imam of the Kampung Pintu Malim Mosque, Awang Haji Shahbirin bin Haji Mohammad Noor. The function was jointly organised by the Curriculum Development Department, International Affairs Unit and the Public Relations Unit, Ministry of Education. This year three mosques were selected for the function which began on the 28th of July.
