The month of Ramadan with full of blessings continues to be glorified with religious activities organised by various government and non-government agencies as well as individuals. In the afternoon, delegation from the Ministry of Religious Affairs visited the Kampung Penapar Mosque in the Tutong District to continue the Tadarus Al-Quran ceremony.
The function began with the recitation of Surah Al-Fatihah led by the Minister of Religious Affairs, Yang Berhormat Pengiran Dato Seri Setia Doctor Haji Mohammad. This was followed with the reading of al-quran or tadarus ceremony from Juzuk 15 and its interpretation, tahlil and doa arwah. It was an annual event of the Ministry of Religious Affairs to further forge closer relations between the staff of the ministry and the mosque's congregants and residents of the kampung. The Minister of Religious Affairs also handed over the endowment of electric goods to the Kampung Penapar mosque affairs officer and followed with the breaking of a fast. Also in the delegation were the Deputy Minister of Religious Affairs, Pengiran Dato Paduka Hj Bahrom, a Legislative Council member, Yang Berhormat Haji Ramli, who is also the Penghulu of Mukim Telisai, Permanent Secretaries and Deputy Permanent Secretary at the Ministry of Religious Affairs. Also in attendance was the Acting Tutong District Officer, Haji Muhammad Suffian.
