The Authority for Info-Communications Technology Industry of Brunei Darussalam, AiTi today held its annual Khatam Al-Quran Ceremony. It took place at its building in Kampong Anggerek.
Present was the Permanent Secretary at the Ministry of Communications, Dato Paduka Haji Awang Alaihuddin as Chairman of AiTi. The function began with the recitation of Umul Kitab, led by the Permanent Secretary, followed by the reading of verses of the Al-Quran, Takhtim, Doa Khatam and Doa Selamat.
The event supports and encourages the reading of the Holy Al-Quran as the nation gears towards becoming a zikir nation.
