In conjunction with the month of Ramadhan, the Ministry of Religious Affairs through it's Administration Department and Mosque Affairs Department has sent its tedarus delegations to mosques nationwide.
Last night saw the closing of the series of tedarus ceremonies at the Omar Ali Saifuddien Mosque in the capital.
Present was the Deputy Minister of Religious Affairs, Pengiran Dato Paduka Haji Bahrom. Also present was the Permanent Secretary for Policy and Religious Section, Awang Haji Abdul Aziz; the Permanent Secretary for Administration and Finance, Dato Paduka Awang Sa Bali bin Abas; and the Deputy Permanent Secretary at the ministry, Awang Haji Harun bin Haji Junid. The function began with a reading of the Surah Al-Fatihah, led by the Deputy Minister of Religious Affairs followed by the Khatam Al-Quran and Takhtim led by a mosque officer.
