Marriage Application and Rice Production were raised during the Questions for Oral AnswersAfter convening for 11 days, the First Meeting of the 22nd Session of the Legislative Council lowered its curtain, 28th March 2026, and was adjourned to a date that has yet to be decided. The Council also approved the Resolution according to Article 83(3) of the Constitution of Brunei Darussalam 1959 and the Speaker of the Legislative Council's Speech. Media Conference on Cycling Safety ControlThe public, especially cyclists, are advised to comply with safety regulations for cyclists on the road to reduce the risk of road accidents involving fatality. Brunei Darussalam Road Safety Council or MKKJR highlighted this during the MKKJR Media Conference on Safety Control of Bicycle Users on the Road, 28th March morning. Deputy Permanent Secretary for Transport at the Ministry of Transport and Infocommunications as Secretary of MKKJR, also shared alternative routes suggestions, by taking into account the Share The Road concept for all road users. Awang Haji Mohammad Salihin bin Haji Aspar, also shared a proposal to ban cycling on roads with speed limits of more than 65 kilometres per hour, including roads with speed limits such as 70 kilometres per hour, 80 kilometres per hour and 100 kilometres per hour.
