Official Visit to the Federal Republic of Germany His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu'izzaddin Waddaulah ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar 'Ali Saifuddien Sa'adul Khairi Waddien, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam will be making an Official Visit to the Federal Republic of Germany, which will be held on 18th and 19th of May 2026, upon invitation from His Excellency Frank-Walter Steinmeier, Federal President of the Federal Republic of Germany.

Meeting With Party Secretary of Shenzhen His Royal Highness Prince Haji Al-Muhtadee Billah ibni His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu'izzaddin Waddaulah, the Crown Prince and Senior Minister at the Prime Minister's Office in a sabda expressed satisfaction with the close and long-standing relations between Brunei Darussalam and the People's Republic of China in areas including trade and investment, agriculture, fisheries, and people-to-people exchanges. The mutual commitment of both countries towards strengthening the Strategic Cooperative Partnership and advancing a Brunei-China community with a shared future was further reaffirmed. His Royal Highness made the sabda during a meeting with His Excellency Jin Lei, Party Secretary of Shenzhen. The meeting was held at the Futian Shangri-La Hotel, Shenzhen.

Visit to Leju Robot Headquarters His Royal Highness Prince Haji Al-Muhtadee Billah, the Crown Prince and Senior Minister at the Prime Minister's Office in a sabda noted that Huawei has achieved significant success in research and technological development, particularly as one of the leading pioneers in Artificial Intelligence in China. His Royal Highness also stated that Huawei's “FOUR NEW Strategy" has strengthened the company's growth direction, as reflected in its 20-year presence in Brunei Darussalam, which has supported the development of the country's digital infrastructure. Huawei continues to be an important partner in enhancing digital connectivity in Brunei Darussalam. His Royal Highness made the sabda when he visited the Leju Robot and Huawei Headquarters in Shenzhen.
