​Over 300 people took part in the 'Larian Semarak' in conjunction with the National Day celebration. The run was held on 12th March morning, which began and ended at the Tutong Sports Complex.

The run was flagged off by Awang Mohammad Sofian bin Haji Basri, Acting Tutong District Officer. The goal of the run was to support a healthy lifestyle through sports and recreation through solidarity and love towards the nation. Sefli Ahar and Tho Siaw Khim from Miri, Sarawak won the 6-kilometre open challenge category.
