​Hengyi Industries Sendirian Berhad held a Scholarship Signing Ceremony with Universiti Brunei Darussalam, UBD,and a Conditional Offer of Employment, CoE Signing Ceremony with Politeknik Brunei and Institute of Brunei Technical Education, IBTE. The ceremony took place at a shopping mall in Kampung Manggis.

Preesnt was Dayang Hajah Farida Binti Dato Seri Paduka Haji Talib, Permanent Secretary for Energy at the Prime Minister's Office and His Excellency Doctor Xiao Jianguo, Ambassador Extraordinary and lenipotentiary of the People's Republic of China to Brunei Darussalam. 

20 students from UBD signed the agreement. Also held was the presentation of CoE to 145 students from Politeknik Brunei and 35 students from IBTE for the 2022 intake. The joint scholarship and collaboration programme is part of Hengyi Future-Ready, an initiative aimed at nurturing the youths of Brunei Darussalam into highly skilled individuals. Hengyi Industries will also offer the students under the programme the opportunity for full-time employment at Hengyi Industries upon successful completion of their studies.
