​Yayasan Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah presented donations amounting to $86,300 to 73 mosques, suraus and religious halls throughout the country and 6 families who fell victim to house fires and collapsed houses. The donation presentation took place on 26th February afternoon, at Dewan An-Naura, Yayasan Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Complex.

The Mosques, suraus and religious halls received a total of $78,500. The donation is for the purpose of holding ceremonies and takmir activities especially throughout Ramadhan this year. The donations were presented by Yang Berhormat Pehin Datu Lailaraja Retired Major General Dato Paduka Seri Haji Awang Halbi bin Haji Mohd. Yussof, Minister at the Prime Minister's Office and Second Minister of Defence as Chairman of the Yayasan Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Board of Directors.

While for Belait District and Temburong District, the contribution was handed over by Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Dr. Awang Haji Mohammad Isham bin Haji Jaafar, Minister of Health as Deputy Chairman of the Yayasan Board of Directors.

$7,800 contributed to families who fell victim to house fires and collapsed houses were presented by Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Awang Haji Nazmi bin Haji Mohamad, Minister of Culture, Youth and Sports as Member of the Yayasan Board of Directors and Chairman of the Yayasan Aid Review Committee.
