​The Ministry of Finance and Economy and its Departments, 26th February afternoon, held a Doa Kesyukuran Ceremony and the Reading of Surah Yaasin in conjunction with Brunei Darussalam's 40th National Day Celebration. Organized by the Department of Economic Planning and Statistics, the ceremony took place at the Ministry of Finance and Economy.

Present was Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Doctor Awang Haji Mohd Amin Liew bin Abdullah, Minister at the Prime Minister's Office and Second Minister of Finance and Economy.  

The ceremony included the sunat hajat prayer, reading of Surah Yasin and Doa Kesyukuran as well as mass Fardhu Asar prayer. Also present was Dato Seri Paduka Awang Haji Khairuddin bin Haji Abdul Hamid, Deputy Minister of Finance and Economy for Economy.
