The public especially film enthusiasts are able to watch selected Japanese films and dramas via the Japanese Film Festival Online 2024. Hosted by the Embassy of Japan in the country, the offline screening event for the film festival was held on 15th June afternoon, at Mahakarya Institute of the Arts Asia.

The event was jointly-officiated by His Excellency Maeda Toru, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Japan to the country, Yang Amat Mulia Pengiran Anak Hajah Nurul Amal Munjiyyatul Athirah binti Pengiran Sura Negara Pengiran Anak Haji Muhammad Bey Muntassir AND Dayang Siti Kamaluddin, Co-founders of Mahakarya Institute of the Arts Asia. The festival is being held until the 3rd of July.
