​3 buffaloes were sacrificed at the Rites of Sacrifice of the Ministry of Primary Resources and Tourism as well as the departments under it. The distribution of sacrificial meats was held on 19th June afternoon, at the Ministry. This year, the ceremony was organised by the Department of Fisheries.

Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Dr. Awang Haji Abdul Manaf bin Haji Metussin, Minister of Primary Resources and Tourism distributed the sacrificial meats to 80 recipients comprising staff of the ministry and the departments under it. Earlier, the ceremony was enlivened with a special talk titled 'Kemanisan dalam Pengorbanan' or the Sweetness in Sacrifice.
