​The 2-day National Tug-of-war Tournament in conjunction with His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam's 78 birthday anniversary ended 7th July afternoon, with a prize presentation ceremony. The event was held at Taman Mahkota Jubli Emas in the capital.

KB Bull Brothers and Chainblock 'A', won the Category A and B respectively. Champion in Category B will represent the country at the All-Borneo Tug-of-War competition. Meanwhile, winner of the Category C will be determined during the National Cycling Recreation event on August. The championship trophy at the national level is a kurnia by His Royal Highness Prince Mohamed Bolkiah.
