​The Ilal Hijrah celebration was also held by the Ministry of Finance and Economy. Organised by the Research and Strategic Management Division, the ceremony took place on 10th July afternoon, at the Ministry of Finance and Economy.

Present was Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Doctor Awang Haji Mohd. Amin Liew bin Abdullah, Minister at the Prime Minister's Office and Second Minister of Finance and Economy. It was highlighted with a Special Talk titled "Barubah atau Baru Bah". The event was an annual religious activity of the Ministry to commemorate the Ilal Hijrah celebration. Also present was Dato Seri Paduka Awang Haji Khairuddin bin Haji Abdul Hamid, Deputy Minister of Finance and Economy for Economy, and Pengiran Datin Seri Paduka Hajah Zety Sufina binti Pengiran Dato Paduka Haji Sani, Deputy Minister of Finance and Economy for Fiscal.
