​The Executive Development Programme, EDP has been meticulously designed to reflect real-time up-to-date underpinnings and circumstances as best as possible to give participants an insight into the intricacies of public policy in a constantly changing environment. The Permanent Secretary at the Ministry of Defence stated the matter during the launching of the 19th EDP for Senior Government Officials organised by the Ministry of Defence. The ceremony took place at the Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Institute of Defence and Strategic Studies, Bolkiah Garrison.

Retired Brigadier General Dato Seri Pahlawan Haji Alirupendi bin Haji Perudin also highlighted that the cohort's diverse participation will further contribute to a more enriched understanding and good insights on policy considerations.
