Various sports events were held in conjunction with His Majesty's 78th Birthday Celebration. The Squash Championship organised by the Brunei Squash Racquets Association, BSRA was held at the Civil Service Club in Mentiri.

In the final round of the Men's Open Special Plate category, Pengiran Khairul Amin Pengiran Haji Mohd Alam defeated Asmat Umar 11-7, 11-5.

Meanwhile, the Men's Open Plate Category final was won by Lim Kok Sheng after defeating Fauzi Zaini 11-6, 11-5, and 11-4.

While in the final round of the Men's Open Main event, William Thacker won after defeating Christensen Areck 11-8, 11-4.

In the Women's Open final, a participant from Sarawak, Siti Syaurah Sufian, was crowned champion after defeating Hamidah Ismail 11-2, 11-3, and 11-3.

Meanwhile, at the Perpindahan Kampung Mentiri Community Hall, the final round of the Men's Open Doubles Darts Tournament, organised by Brunei Darussalam Spin-Top Darts Club was held.
