​Early detection of breast cancer is the key to ensuring that breast cancer can be treated and controlled early. The establishment of the Breast Imaging Centre is one of the initiatives to increase the ability and capacity of breast imaging services at Raja Isteri Pengiran Anak Saleha Hospital. The Ministry of Health held the Inauguration Ceremony of the Breast Imaging Centre and the Launch of the Breast Cancer Risk Assessment Feature in the BruHealth Application, 21st August afternoon.

It was officiated by Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Doctor Awang Haji Mohammad Isham bin Haji Jaafar, Minister of Health. The Breast Imaging Centre and Breast Cancer Risk Assessment Features in the BruHealth Application is an initiative of the Ministry of Health to improve the quality of breast imaging services with better diagnosis and more effective treatment to achieve a high quality of life. With the facilities, it is hoped to increase the confidence and comfort of patients undergoing mammogram examinations.
