​The Kampung Lumut Consultative Council in collaboration with several other village consultative councils in Mukim Liang organised a Recreational Cycling event on 1st September morning, at the Lumut Recreational Beach.

The 15-kilometre cycling was flagged off by Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Awang Haji Ahmaddin bin Haji Abdul Rahman, Minister of Home Affairs. The cycling event was part of the 'Pesta Pantai Lumut'. Also held was sales activities that provide opportunities for micro, small and medium entrepreneurs to generate income.
