​His Royal Highness Prince Doctor Haji Al-Muhtadee Billah ibni His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu'izzaddin Waddaulah, the Crown Prince and Senior Minister at the Prime Minister's Office in a sabda stressed that relevant parties in the country should be sensitive in seeing how to treat or address mental symptoms, which is often mentioned lately, with Al-Qur'an. His Royal Highness in the sabda emphasised that this method is certain to exist according to Al-Qur'an. This is what is known as, the Muslim Ummah guided by Al-Qur'an, by making use of all its teachings to overcome any related problems.

His Royal Highness made the sabda at the 12th Haflut Takharruj of Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Tahfiz Al-Qur'an Institute. The ceremony took place on 5th September morning, at the International Convention Centre in Berakas.

In attendance was His Royal Highness' brother, His Royal Highness Prince 'Abdul Malik.

Upon arrival, His Royal Highness was greeted by Yang Berhormat Pehin Udana Khatib Dato Paduka Seri Setia Ustaz Haji Awang Badaruddin bin Pengarah Dato Paduka Haji Awang Othman, Minister of Religious Affairs, as well as the event's executive committee members.

The reading of Surah Al-Balad was presented by Dayang Awadah binti Awang Mohamad Ariffin, and the interpretation was read by Dayang Nur Qamariah binti Kepli

In his welcoming speech, the Minister of Religious Affairs expressed hope that the graduates will fully utilise the knowledge gained.

His Royal Highness in the sabda underscored that with more huffaz or Al-Qur'an memorisers in the country, it will further disseminate the benefits and blessings of Al-Qur'an.

His Royal Highness in the sabda said through a smooth reading method, both reader and listener can then try to internalise it and seek Allah's blessings for the people and the beloved country.

His Royal Highness presented the Aaliyah Qiraat Diploma to 20 graduates. Of the figure, 11 earned Excellent Grade; 6 obtained Very Good; 1 earned Good grade; and 2 obtained the Passing grade.

The graduates' representative, Dayang Nurmazrina binti Abdul Mahmod in her speech expressed appreciation for the care and attention given by the government in ensuring their welfare and well-being are looked after.

Doa selamat was read by Yang Berhormat Pehin Orang Kaya Paduka Seri Utama Dato Paduka Seri Setia Haji Awang Salim bin Haji Besar.

Since its establishment in 2014, the Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Tahfiz Al-Qur'an Institute has produced 242 'Aliyah Qira'at Diploma graduates.
