​The Masjid Universiti Committee, Universiti Brunei Darussalam also held the Dikir Maulud opening ceremony. It was held at the said mosque.

The ceremony was joined by delegations from Universiti Teknologi Brunei, Seri Begawan Religious Teachers University College and the Narcotics Control Bureau. The event aimed to further glorify the 12 consecutive nights in conjunction with the birthday anniversary of Prophet Muhammad Sallalahu 'Alaihi Wassalam.

A similar ceremony was also held by the Brunei Darussalam Scouts Association through the association's religious hall takmir committee in collaboration with the Brunei Muara District Scouts Association. It was held at the association's religious hall.
