In conjunction with the International Day of Peace, the Girl Guides Association held a Walk For Peace. With theme 'Sustaining Peace and Harmony', the annual event took place at the Association headquarters in Anggerek Desa, Berakas, 8th September morning.

The walk was officiated by Datin Hajah Masni binti Haji Mohd. Ali, Life Vice President of the Girl Guides Association. The activity aims to improve healthy lifestyle by doing physical and leisure activities, while promoting awareness of the importance of universal peace. The International Day of Peace is celebrated every 21st of September, with this year's theme 'Cultivating a Culture of Peace'.
