​As part of the continuous commitment of Bank Islam Brunei Darussalam, BIBD in promoting the growth of economic diversity in Brunei Darussalam, the Foundation Laying Ceremony of the BIBD Connects Temburong building was held. It took place at Labu Square in Temburong District, 1st October morning.

The ceremony was inaugurated by Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Awang Haji Ahmaddin bin Haji Abdul Rahman, Minister of Home Affairs as Chairman of BIBD. The project, which is expected to be completed in mid-2025, is a multi-storey building intended to empower local enterprises in a competitive market. Also present was Yang Berhormat Haji Awang Sulaiman bin Haji Nasir, a Member of the Legislative Council.
