​19 ministries will compete in the Inter-ministries Badminton Tournament, in conjunction with the 31st Civil Service Day. The official opening ceremony of the tournament took place at Chung Hwa School Hall, Kiudang in Tutong District.

The launch was officiated by Awang Abdul Walid bin Haji Matassan, Permanent Secretary for Municipal and District at the Ministry of Home Affairs. Five categories are being competed in the tournament.

The semi-final match will be held on 9th November, followed by the final on 10th November. The tournament is jointly organised by the Tutong Municipal Department and the Tutong District Office and is run by the Tutong District Chung Hwa School Kiudang Badminton Club.
