Sharing innovation, expanding networks, and deepening collaboration under SEAMEO will synergise efforts to advance the future of education, science and culture across Southeast Asia. This waas shared by the Deputy Permanent Secretary for Core Education, Ministry of Education at the 47th Southeast Asian Ministers of Education Organisation High Officials Meeting, SEAMEO HOM held in Bangkok, Thailand from 26th to 28th November.
Awang Aliuddin bin Haji Abdul Rahman led the Brunei Darussalam delegation at the meeting that was officiated by His Excellency Surasak Phancharoenworakul, Deputy Minister of Education, Kingdom of Thailand.
At the meeting Awang Aliuddin also presented Brunei Darussalam's country report on the implementation of the SEAMEO Priority Areas, such as the STEAM Education and Early Childhood Education.
The 47th SEAMEO HOM also saw an awarding ceremony, where Brunei Darussalam received three prestigious SEAMEO awards, showcasing its commitment to education and innovation.
In addition, the Future4Girls' Inception Report Consultation Meeting and the Launch of the Rapid Scoping Study Report on the Out-of-School Children and Youth in Southeast Asia were also held.
