​His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu'izzaddin Waddaulah ibni Al- Marhum Sultan Haji Omar 'Ali Saifuddien Sa'adul Khairi Waddien, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam in a titah says the main agenda is to continue enhancing the country's competitiveness, by emphasising the importance of inclusive and sustainable development, with close cooperation from various stakeholders among the private sector, non-governmental organisations and the community in general.

His Majesty stressed the matter in the Titah in conjunction with the New Year 2025, broadcast nationwide through radio and television. In the titah, the Monarch also emphasises several matters among them the importance of maintaining solidarity; increasing efforts to attract more Foreign Direct Investments, FDI of quality; and ensuring that the welfare of senior citizens and the underprivileged is looked after.

His Majesty began the titah by praying that this New Year will further drive us to together shoulder the trust with full dedication and commitment in order to achieve a more meaningful change for ourselves, family, community and country.
