​Brunei Darussalam is currently in the Northeast Monsoon which is also known as Monsoon Season and are forecast to be active until the end of March 2025. According to the Brunei Darussalam Meteorological Department, the country usually experiences uncertain weather conditions, with occasional heavy and thundery showers especially at night and in the early morning. During the second half of the Northeast Monsoon which is February and March 2025, atmospheric conditions tend to become more stable with reduced rainfall activity.

The public are advised to take necessary precautions to ensure safety during the active weather condition. There is high risk of flash floods, especially at low-lying and flood prone areas as well as near river banks during heavy rain.
