​The Tourism Development Department, organised a familiarization trip for 10 top golf travel agents from Hong Kong, Thailand, Taipei and Singapore. The visit was in collaboration with key tourism stakeholders, including the national airline, travel agencies, and accommodation providers.

The itinerary featured on-site experiences to several notable golf courses, including The Empire Golf and Country Club, Royal Brunei Golf and Country Club, Royal Brunei Airlines Golf Club and Pantai Mentiri Golf Club. In addition to golfing activities, the agents also had the opportunity to explore Brunei's cultural and natural sights through a guided city tour, where they explored local iconic landmarks. The group also toured the Omar 'Ali Saifuddien Mosque and Jame' 'Asr Hassanil Bolkiah Mosque.
