The Kampung Kilanas Mosque Takmir Committee also held a Khatam Al-Qur'an Ceremony in conjunction with Ramadhan. The ceremony was held at the mosque, 24th March afternoon.

The recitation of Al Fatihah was led by Yang Berhormat Pengiran Dato Seri Setia Shamhary bin Pengiran Dato Paduka Haji Mustapha, Minister of Transport and Infocommunications. The ceremony ran concurrently with a donation presentation to 10 orphans from Kampung Kilanas. The donations were from the Special Donation Fund for the village's orphans.
