Pusat Ehsan Al-Ameerah Al-Hajjah Maryam held a Khatam Al-Qur'an Ceremony and donation presentation. The ceremony in conjunction with Nuzul Al-Qur'an Celebration was held at the centre's surau in Kampung Bengkurong, 25th March morning.

Present was Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Haji Awang Nazmi bin Haji Awang Mohamad, Minister of Culture, Youth and Sports. The ceremony ran concurrently with a presentation of donations to 47 recipients comprising orphans, underprivileged children and single mothers. Contributions included those from the Embassy of the People's Republic of China in the country, presented by His Excellency Xiao Jianguo, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People's Republic of China.
