​After taking the Agrobiz Plus Course in 2019, a Youth Development Centre trainee graduate has now successfully started his own company.

Having started operating the Syarikat Cahaya Agro in 2021 in the IBTE Wasan Area temporarily, Awang Mohammad Wafiuddin bin Karim is now operating a farm in the Lampaki Agricultural Development Area with an area of 5 acres. The company owned by Awang Mohammad Wafiuddin operates a farm using fertigation for pepper, eggplant and melon.

In 2024, the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports, through the Youth Development Centre, has also provided an incubator site with an area of point seven acres at the centre.

Hoping to further expand his company, this local youth also hoping to venture into the field of paddy and fruit cultivation.
