​Five books and a 'Wahana Sejarah' Magazine recently published by the Brunei History Centre are an effort by the centre to ensure that people and residents of the country understand the importance of history in the development and progress of the nation and race. The books titled 'Aspirasi Negara: Mahkota Bangsa, Jilid I; Kampung Ayer: Warisan Bangsa Brunei; Sultan-Sultan Brunei: Sebuah Biografi Ringkas; Castillian War; Sultan Bolkiah in English version and Wahana Sejarah 2, can also be used as references for researchers of the country's history.

Written by Doctor Haji Muhammad Hadi bin Muhammad Melayong, Head of the Brunei History Centre, Buku Aspirasi Negara: Mahkota Bangsa, highlights the historical journey of Brunei Darussalam based on his views, ideas and experiences in preserving the values of life based on the Malay Islamic Monarchy's philosophy. Also shared were the objectives of publishing the books.
