Obtaining a broader view and understanding of the Religious Education System in the country, including the implementation of the Compulsory Religious Education Order, was among the purposes of the official visit from the delegation from the Johor State Islamic Religious Department, Malaysia to the Ministry of Religious Affairs. Apart from that, the visit also aimed to further strengthen the cooperation and friendship between both parties.
The delegation led by Dato' Doctor Haji Nooh bin Gadot was feted at the Luncheon. Present was Yang Berhormat Pehin Udana Khatib Dato Paduka Seri Setia Ustaz Haji Awang Badaruddin bin Pengarah Dato Paduka Haji Awang Othman, Minister of Religious Affairs. Also in attendance was His Excellency Datuk Mohd Aini Atan, High Commissioner of Malaysia to the country.
Meanwhile, 23rd April afternoon, the Pengiran Anak Puteri Norain Religious School, in Tutong District, received a visit from the delegation. The delegation is in the country for a three-day visit.
