The mosque is the best place on Earth as it is the house of Allah Subhanahu Wata'ala. It is a holy place where all goodness gather, and where Muslims performs acts of worship to endear themselves to Allah. This was among the matters underlined in the Friday Sermon titled 'The Virtues and Benefits of Building a Mosque.'

His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam has consented for the establishment of the Brunei Darussalam Mosque Construction Fund. It acts as a platform provided by the government to ease the public to donate and earning blessings in building mosques. Building a mosque is considered as an endowment, and an endowed property is included in alms giving.
