In conjunction with the 50th Anniversary of the Jalan Muara Sixth Form Centre, a Khatam Al-Qur'an and Doa Kesyukuran Ceremony was held on 4th May morning. It took place at the Al-Ameerah Al-Hajjah Maryam Mosque, Jerudong.

Eariler, there was a presentation of endowments to the mosque, which was officiated by Yang Berhormat Pehin Orang Kaya Laila Wijaya Dato Seri Setia Dr. Haji Awang Abdul Aziz bin Begawan Pehin Udana Khatib Dato Seri Paduka Haji Awang Umar, a Member of the Privy Council. It coincided with the presentation of donations to orphans. Also present were Yang Berhormat Pehin Datu Lailaraja Retired Major General Dato Paduka Seri Awang Haji Halbi bin Haji Mohd Yusof, Minister at the Prime Minister's Office and Second Minister of Defence and Members of the Legislative Council.
