To instil the value of sacrifice and the spirit of solidarity as well as to develop the Islamic Eminence especially in rural communities, the Ministry of Religious Affairs held a Korban or Sacrificial Rites Ceremony. The ceremony was held at the Multipurpose Hall of PESATU Association in Tutong District, 10th June morning.
Two cows and a buffalo were sacrificed. The sacrificial meats were distributed by Yang Berhormat Pehin Udana Khatib Dato Paduka Seri Setia Ustaz Haji Awang Badaruddin bin Pengarah Dato Paduka Haji Awang Othman, Minister of Religious Affairs. 81 poor and destitute and 157 new converts asnaf received the sacrificial meats.
