Knowledge and Digital Economy as well as Tourism and Hospitality are among the seven focus areas in mapping out new opportunities for Belait District's economic growth. These were among over 30 solutions presented during the workshop attended by stakeholders from the public and private sectors. Organised by the Belait District Business Community Working Group, the Workshop took place at the Brunei Shell Recreational Club, 25th June morning.
Present was Muhammad Faiq Bin Haji Rani, Assistant Belait District Officer. The working group was formed as a direct outcome from a dialogue with the Belait business community last December hosted by the Brunei Economic Development Board. The opportunity statements will be consolidated into a report and submitted to relevant government stakeholders to guide collective action and support the creation of private sector opportunities.
