In conjunction with His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam's 79th Birthday Celebration, the Brunei Darussalam flag handover ceremony and the Flag Off for the 79 Brunei Darussalam Small Flag Bearers Expedition for Brunei Muara District level took place this morning.

Among those present was Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Awang Haji Ahmaddin bin Haji Abdul Rahman, Minister of Home Affairs. Also included in the programme was the distribution of the Flag and Presentation of Certificates of Appreciation to the expedition members, led by Pengiran Haji Qahar bin Pengiran Sanggamara Diraja Retired Major General Pengiran Haji Ibnu Basith. Also present were Members of the Legislative Council.
