In conjunction with the 1447 Hijrah New Year, the Mualaf Development Division, Islamic Da'wah Centre in partnership with the Nurul Islam Association, Brunei Muara District organised the Ilal Hijrah 1447 at the Islamic Da'wah Centre in Kampung Pulaie, 6th July morning.

In attendance was Awang Haji Abd Rajid bin Haji Mohd Salleh, Director of the Islamic Da'wah Centre. The event included a tazkirah on internalising hijrah, and motivational talk emphasising on the values of spiritual transformation and self-empowerment toward a more quality of life. The function among other things aimed to strengthen the new convert's internalisation on the spirit of hijrah by Rasulullah Shallallahu 'Alaihi Wasallam. Also held was a Doa Kesyukuran ceremony to welcome new converts who performed the haj this year.
